Architectural Review Request and Guidelines

Sunset Village is a quaint and serene custom home community comprised of homes in the Florida Coastal Cottage style/tradition. This architecture is characterized by metal roofs, raised foundations, large, deep shade porch areas or verandas, and simple, functional design. The original home at Sunset Village was designed and built by the Developer to reflect this distinct style of architecture and to establish the fundamental elements that characterize the Florida Coastal Cottage architecture in our community.

Architectural Review Application

This form must be completed and submitted with the plans to the Sunset Village Architectural Review Committee (ARC) for review prior to commencement of construction.  Upon completion of the architectural review process, a letter from the Board with their approval or additional comments for revisions by the ARC will be returned to the applicant.  Subsequently, any required revisions cited by the Board or its professionals must be resubmitted to the ARC for review prior to commencement of construction.  Upon final approval from the Board an approval letter will be issue to the applicant.  Please note that each lot requires a separate Application and set of plans.  Please submit all plans to sunsetvillagepsjarc@gmail.com.

DO NOT INITIATE ANY CHANGE PRIOR TO ARC APPROVAL.
UNAPPROVED CHANGES COULD RESULT IN FINES, RESTORATION OF THE PROPERTY TO ITS ORIGINAL STATE OR BOTH.
